StudyUKToday helps international students apply to UK universities. Submitting your application costs nothing. If you would like personal guidance alongside it, you can choose to add that — but you never have to.

Before you pay, so nothing is a surprise afterwards

  • Paying is the start, not the end. Your record and Application Portfolio open immediately, and your confirmation is emailed to the address you pay with.
  • We then ask for two details — your full name and your phone or WhatsApp number — unless you have already applied and we have them.
  • Your documents come later, uploaded through your application or Student Portal. Please do not send documents by WhatsApp.
  • Tuition is separate. These fees are for our support only. University tuition is set by the university and paid to the university.

What happens after you pay

This applies to Assisted (£79) and Premium (£249). Paying is the start of the process, not the end of it — here is exactly what follows, so none of it comes as a surprise.

  1. Payment and confirmation

Your payment is processed securely by Stripe. StudyUKToday never sees or stores your card details. Your support record is created straight away, and we email your confirmation to the address you paid with.

  2. We ask for two details

On the screen straight after payment we ask for your full name and your phone or WhatsApp number. That is all — and if you have already applied through StudyUKToday, we will not ask you again, because we already have them.

  3. Your Application Portfolio opens

Paying opens your Student Portal and Application Portfolio immediately, and you can open it from that same screen. This is where you provide the information and documents your application needs, and where you can see what we have received and what is still outstanding. If you ever lose your link, you can request it again at portal/recover.

  4. We get in touch about your first checkpoint

Email is how we contact you — we aim to email you within one business day of your payment to arrange your first checkpoint. You can also message us on WhatsApp at any time, and we will reply during working hours. WhatsApp is an ordinary conversation with a person, not an automated or ticketed support system.

Please do not send documents by WhatsApp. Documents are uploaded through your application or Student Portal, where they are stored securely and you can always see what we have.

  5. Your checkpoints are delivered

Assisted has 2 checkpoints, Premium has 3. They are listed in full below. Each one is a real piece of work done with you by a person, worked through in order and recorded as delivered as we go.

  6. Your service is finished

Your purchased service is complete when the final checkpoint you paid for has been delivered. Your free application carries on exactly as normal after that — your Student Portal, your documents and our admissions support do not stop.

What your checkpoints are

A checkpoint is a specific piece of work we deliver with you. Every one is done by a person — nothing here is automated.

Assisted Application — £79

  1. 1
    Consultation

A one-to-one conversation about which university and course to apply to.

  2. 2
    Application review

We check your completed application and documents before they are submitted, and tell you what needs fixing.

Premium Admissions — £249

  1. 1
    Choosing

We help you settle on a primary university and course choice, plus two backup options.

  2. 2
    Checking

We review your completed application and documents before they are submitted, and tell you what needs fixing.

  3. 3
    Post-CAS

Once your university issues your CAS, we explain what it means, what happens next, and point you to the official UK visa guidance.

What StudyUKToday does

  • Deliver each checkpoint you have paid for, in person
  • Check your documents and tell you what is missing or needs replacing
  • Take your application forward to the university
  • Keep your Student Portal up to date so you can see where things stand

What you do

  • Complete your application and provide the information we ask for
  • Upload your documents through your application or Student Portal
  • Reply when we contact you, so your checkpoints can go ahead
  • Make the final decision on your university and course — we advise, you choose

Already applied for free and buying support afterwards? Your purchase is linked to your existing application automatically — you do not start again, and you are not asked for anything we already hold. Not applied yet? Paying opens your record and your Application Portfolio for you, and you can complete the free application form whenever you are ready.

How applying works

  1. Complete the application

Around 10 minutes. Personal details, your education, and the universities or courses you are interested in. If you are not sure what to pick, say so — there is an option for that.

  2. Upload your documents

Your passport and academic documents, uploaded securely. You do not need everything on day one; you can add the rest later.

  3. We review and submit

Our admissions team checks what you have sent, comes back to you if something is missing, and then takes your application forward to the university.

  4. Track everything in your Portal

You get your own Student Portal to follow progress, upload anything outstanding, and see where your application currently stands.

What you will need to provide

You will be asked to provide the documents and information required for your course and application. You can start before you have all of them — anything missing can be uploaded later through your Student Portal.

Always required

  • International Passport
  • Academic Certificate
  • Academic Transcript

Depending on your course and level

  • English Language Proficiency
  • Personal Statement
  • CV / Resume
  • Reference Letter
  • Research Proposal

Exactly which of these you need depends on your course and level of study. Your Student Portal shows your own list and keeps it up to date — you do not have to guess, and we will tell you what is outstanding.

Where you provide them

Documents are uploaded securely through your application or your Student Portal, and nowhere else. You will also be asked for information that is not a document — your personal and education details, your university and course choices, a referee, your work history where relevant, and two emergency contacts. All of that is provided in the same two places.

Please do not send documents by WhatsApp. WhatsApp is fine for asking us a question, but documents belong in your Student Portal, where they are stored securely and you can always see what we have received.

What happens after you apply

  • Your documents are checked. We review what you have uploaded and tell you if anything is missing or needs replacing.
  • Your application is submitted. Once everything is in order, it goes forward to the university.
  • You receive a decision. Universities issue either a conditional or an unconditional offer. We explain what yours means and what to do next.
  • You accept and move to CAS. After accepting an offer, the university issues your CAS — the document you need before applying for a Student visa.
  • You apply for your visa. We point you to the official GOV.UK guidance for this step. StudyUKToday does not provide immigration advice.

What we promise, and what we do not

  • Applying through StudyUKToday is free. You never need to pay to submit an application.
  • Assisted and Premium are optional one-time payments, not subscriptions.
  • University tuition fees are separate, are set by the university, and are paid to the university — not to StudyUKToday, and not included in any of these three routes.
  • Payment does not guarantee admission, a CAS, or a UK visa — and never improves your chances.
  • Your application is handled by the same team, the same way, whether you pay or not. Paying buys you specific, named checkpoints — not a faster queue.
  • Email is how we contact you. WhatsApp is available as an additional way to reach us during working hours — it is a conversation with a person, not an automated or guaranteed-response system.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe. StudyUKToday never sees or stores your card details.
  • You can cancel a paid service within 14 days, and what you get back depends on how many checkpoints have already been delivered. See our Refund Policy.

Common questions

Do I have to pay to apply to a UK university through StudyUKToday?

No. The Free Application is the normal way to apply and costs nothing. Assisted (£79) and Premium (£249) are optional support services — you never need either one to submit an application.

What documents do I need to apply?

Every application needs your passport, your most recent academic certificate, and your academic transcript or marksheets. Depending on your course and level you may also be asked for English language evidence such as IELTS or TOEFL, a personal statement, a CV, a reference letter, or a research proposal. You can begin your application before you have everything and upload the rest later through your Student Portal, which always shows your own up-to-date list.

Can I apply if I do not have my IELTS or English test result yet?

Yes. You can submit your application and add your English language evidence afterwards through your Student Portal. Not every course requires a test result, so it is worth applying rather than waiting.

What if I do not know which university or course to choose?

The application form has an "I need guidance" option for both university and course. Tick it and submit anyway — our admissions team will help you choose. This is part of the free service.

What happens after I submit my application?

You get access to your Student Portal, where you can track progress and upload anything still outstanding. Our team reviews your documents, then your application moves through to the university. You are told at each stage, and your Portal always shows the current position.

Does paying for Assisted or Premium improve my chance of being accepted?

No. Paying does not guarantee or improve the likelihood of admission, a CAS, or a UK visa. Those decisions are made by the university and, for visas, by UKVI. Assisted and Premium buy you more of our time and personal guidance, nothing more.

Is Assisted or Premium a subscription?

No. Both are one-time payments. There is no recurring charge, and no card details are stored by StudyUKToday — payments are handled by Stripe.

Can I buy Assisted or Premium after I have already applied for free?

Yes. You can add either service at any point, and it will be linked to your existing application automatically. You do not start again, and we will not ask you for anything we already hold.

Can I get a scholarship through StudyUKToday?

No. StudyUKToday does not offer, award or fund scholarships, and neither Assisted nor Premium includes scholarship funding or a scholarship application service. Some universities, governments and other organisations do offer scholarships to eligible international students, but availability and eligibility vary by student, course, university and intake, and none is guaranteed. Check the university's own scholarship information and eligibility requirements directly. Our application service is free either way — that is separate from tuition, and separate again from any scholarship.

Does "free application" mean university tuition is free?

No. What is free is our service in helping you apply — there is no application fee, and you never pay StudyUKToday to submit an application. UK universities charge their own tuition fees, which you pay to the university directly. Tuition is not included in the free application, and it is not included in Assisted or Premium either. You will also need to cover your living costs, and the UK government charges separate visa and healthcare fees.

What happens immediately after I pay?

Your payment is confirmed by Stripe, your support record is created, and we email your confirmation to the address you paid with. Your Student Portal and Application Portfolio open straight away, and you can go into them from the screen you land on after payment. If you have not applied yet, paying opens your record for you, so nothing is lost if you come back to the application form later.

What information will you ask me for after I pay?

On the screen straight after payment we ask for two things: your full name, and your phone or WhatsApp number. That is all we ask for at that point, and if you have already applied through StudyUKToday we do not ask again. Everything else — your education details, university and course choices, referee, work history where relevant, two emergency contacts, and your documents — is provided in your application or Student Portal, in your own time.

Where do I upload my documents? Can I send them on WhatsApp?

Documents are uploaded through the application form or your Student Portal, and nowhere else. Please do not send documents by WhatsApp. WhatsApp is fine for asking us a question, but your Portal is where documents are stored securely and where you can always see what we have received and what is still outstanding.

How will you contact me?

By email — that is our primary contact method, and it is where your confirmation and any updates go. We aim to email you within one business day of your payment to arrange your first checkpoint. You can also message us on WhatsApp at any time and we will reply during working hours. WhatsApp is an ordinary conversation with a person, not an automated or ticketed support system, and we do not promise a guaranteed response time on it.

Who will be helping me?

A member of the StudyUKToday admissions team, personally. Your checkpoints are delivered by a person, not by software. We do not assign a dedicated named advisor to each student, and we would rather say that plainly than imply a level of service we do not currently operate.

When is my purchased service finished?

When the last checkpoint you paid for has been delivered — the second for Assisted, the third for Premium. Your free application continues after that: your Student Portal, your documents and our normal admissions support do not stop when your paid checkpoints are complete.

What do I have to do myself?

Complete your application, provide the information and documents we ask for, upload them through your Portal, and reply when we contact you so your checkpoints can go ahead. The final decision on your university and course is always yours — we advise, you choose.

Can I cancel or get a refund?

Yes, within 14 days of paying. How much you get back depends on how many checkpoints we have already delivered: nothing delivered means a full refund, and once every checkpoint has been delivered the service has been fully performed and is no longer refundable. Our Refund Policy sets out the exact amounts for each service.

Ready to start?

Your application is free, takes around 10 minutes, and you can finish the rest later.
