About the University
Bath Spa University traces its origins to the Bath School of Art, founded in 1852, and Bath Teacher Training College, opened on the Newton Park campus in 1946. It gained full university status in 2005.

The main Newton Park campus is a rural site around three and a half miles west of Bath city centre, with further sites in Bath, at Corsham Court in Wiltshire, and in London.
