Frequently Asked Questions
What does StudyUKToday actually do?
We help international students gain admission to UK universities: course selection, university matching, application support, document review, and offer acceptance support. We don’t handle visa applications, accommodation, or relocation directly; where those come up, we point you to trusted official resources rather than manage them ourselves.
Does it cost anything to use StudyUKToday?
Applying to a university through StudyUKToday does not have an application fee. We’re paid by our recruitment partner once a student we’ve referred enrols, so our incentive is to help you find the right course, not the most expensive one. Our Assisted (£79) and Premium (£249) services are optional paid support services — you never need either one to apply. University tuition fees, living costs, visa fees and other university or government charges are separate, and are paid to the university or the UK government, never to us.
How do I start my application?
Apply online, message us on WhatsApp, email us, or request a call, whichever you prefer. However you start, you’ll follow the same clear application process.
What documents will I need?
This depends on your course and level of study. Once you get in touch, we’ll tell you exactly what’s needed for your specific application rather than asking for everything up front.
Can an education agent submit my application on my behalf?
Yes. If you’re working with one of our education agent partners, they can start your application for you. You’ll then complete the rest of the details yourself, and your application follows the exact same process as anyone who applied directly.
Do you help with my student visa?
We don’t provide visa or immigration advice. That’s handled through your university and the UK government’s own official process. We’ll guide you through what’s needed on the university admissions side, including your Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS).
Can I work while studying in the UK?
It depends on your specific course, your institution, and the conditions attached to your immigration permission, so there isn’t one answer that applies to every student. As a general guide, eligible full-time students on a degree-level course at a licensed Student sponsor can usually work up to 20 hours a week during term time and full-time during official vacations, but other routes, including below-degree-level and some short courses, carry different or no work permission. Your visa conditions, confirmed by UK Visas and Immigration, are what actually govern this for your specific case, not anything we can promise on your behalf. We’re an admissions service, not a visa or job-placement provider, so our role is helping you get into the right course; once you have an offer, we’re happy to point you toward official guidance on what your particular visa conditions allow.
Do you help with accommodation or arriving in the UK?
Accommodation and relocation support aren’t something we provide directly. Where it’s useful, we’ll point you to trusted resources for these. Our focus is getting your university application right.
What happens after I submit my application?
We review it, help resolve anything missing or unclear, and keep you updated as it progresses with the university. You can always see where things stand rather than having to ask.
